What is Custom Antibody Production?


In response to invading pathogens, the adaptive immune system produces antibodies. The antibody recognizes the offending bacteria, virus, or other molecule using a specific lock and key mechanism, which is known as antigen recognition. Antibodies are proteins that are folded polypeptides or strands of amino acids with antigen recognition sites that recognize a specific antigen-binding site.
